Three Scents I’d Wear Now

I love comparing fragrances that create completely different moods rather than choosing several perfumes from the same family.
These three stand apart from one another: one feels playful and airy, another fresh and green, while the third leans warm, floral and softly nostalgic.

Zarkoperfume Pink Molécule 090.09

Pink Molécule 090.09 by Zarkoperfume immediately appeals to me because it takes fruity sweetness in a more unusual direction. The composition opens with elderflower, apricot, black orchid and the brand’s Pink Molecules accord, while mahogany, creamy nuances and dark woods form the base. Interestingly, the fragrance is intentionally structured without a traditional heart, moving almost directly from the opening into the deeper notes. ZARKOPERFUME
I would choose this perfume when I want something bright and feminine without reaching for a conventional sugary scent. The combination sounds sparkling at first, but the creamy base gives it more depth. I can imagine it working especially well during daytime, on holiday or whenever an outfit feels simple and needs a playful finishing touch.

Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay

Blackberry & Bay Cologne has a completely different personality. Jo Malone London builds it around tart blackberry, fresh bay leaves and dry cedarwood, creating a fragrance that combines fruit with noticeably green, leafy notes. The brand describes it through the memory of blackberry picking, and that countryside inspiration makes sense to me: this is fruit surrounded by stems, leaves and woods rather than dessert-like sweetness. Jo Malone London
That contrast is exactly why I find Blackberry & Bay so wearable. I would reach for it when I want something fresh but more distinctive than a standard citrus fragrance. It feels particularly suited to casual daytime looks, crisp shirts, denim and transitional weather. The blackberry gives it character, while the herbal-green side keeps the composition clean and lively.

Marc-Antoine Barrois Tilia

Tilia by Marc-Antoine Barrois is the softest and most atmospheric of the three. Its composition includes linden blossom, broom, jasmine sambac, heliotrope, vetiver notes and ambroxan. The brand presents it as a sunny fragrance inspired by an endlessly lasting summer, with honeyed and slightly apricot-like facets balanced by powdery florals and smoky-earthy vetiver. MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS
I would choose Tilia when I want a fragrance that feels polished yet relaxed. The floral notes suggest warmth rather than heaviness, making it easy to imagine with light fabrics, soft neutral colours and understated makeup. Of these three perfumes, this is the one I associate most with a calm, luminous mood.
Together, these fragrances cover three very different directions: sparkling and modern, green and fruity, and warm floral. I like that each can change the mood of an outfit without feeling predictable.
