I’m increasingly drawn to perfumes that don’t need to dominate a room to feel memorable.

These four have very different moods, but all fit into that softer, more personal side of fragrance that I find easy to wear.

Lore Eau De Parfum

Lore Eau de Parfum immediately appeals to me for its understated presentation: the frosted bottle, silver cap and minimal lettering make it feel clean and contemporary before I even spray it. On skin, this is the sort of fragrance I would reach for when I want something polished but uncomplicated, particularly for daytime or situations where a louder perfume would feel distracting. Its restrained character makes it easy to imagine with a crisp shirt, simple jewellery and a barely-there makeup look — refined without trying too hard.

Sainte Fumé Fleurit

Sainte Fumé Fleurit has a much moodier personality. The smoky grey bottle and sculptural dark cap give it an almost mysterious quality, and that atmosphere carries through to how I would wear it: later in the day, with softer lighting and something slightly more dressed-up. Compared with the cleaner simplicity of Lore, Fleurit feels more expressive and sensual to me, the kind of fragrance I would choose when I want my perfume to become part of the overall mood rather than simply finish the outfit.

Ledda 22 Orris And Phlur Missing Person

The final pair feels especially interesting because Ledda 22 Orris Eau de Parfum and Phlur Missing Person Eau de Parfum both sit naturally within the softer, skin-focused end of my fragrance wardrobe, yet they give very different impressions. Ledda 22 Orris feels more polished and powdery in spirit, with an elegant, composed character that I would wear when I want something quietly sophisticated. Missing Person feels warmer and more intimate by comparison — less formal, more comforting, and ideal for those days when I want my perfume to stay close rather than project strongly. If I were choosing between them, Ledda would be my pick for a refined daytime mood, while Missing Person is the one I’d reach for when I want something cosy and familiar.

Lore is the easiest everyday choice, Sainte Fumé Fleurit brings the most atmosphere, and the Ledda–Phlur pairing covers two different versions of understated intimacy. Together, they make a beautifully varied fragrance wardrobe without relying on anything overly loud or obvious.
