I used to think skin mists were an extra step, but now I reach for them constantly. They’re easy to use when my skin feels dry, tired, or just needs a quick refresh.

These three formulas are quite different, so I choose between them depending on what my skin seems to need. One feels especially nourishing, another is all about lightweight hydration, and the third has become my comfort option when my skin feels less balanced.

d’Alba First Spray Serum

The d’Alba First Spray Serum is the one I reach for when I want my skin to look instantly fresher and more luminous. The bottle contains two visible layers, so I shake it before spraying to mix the formula properly. What I enjoy most is the fine mist: it distributes evenly without leaving my face feeling soaked.

I often use it after skincare, but I also like a light layer over makeup when everything starts looking a little too dry. It gives my complexion a softer, more radiant finish without making it feel heavy. For me, this is the most “glowy” option of the three.

Anua PDRN Hydrating Mist

Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist feels lighter and more refreshing. The formula combines PDRN and hyaluronic acid, and I especially like using it when my skin feels dehydrated but I don’t want to add another cream.

The tiny suspended capsules make the product visually interesting, but what matters to me is how comfortable it feels on the skin. I can spray it between skincare steps or during the day, and it absorbs without leaving an obvious residue. This is the bottle I would probably keep closest to my desk.

Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream Mist

Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream Mist feels like the most comforting choice. Compared with the Anua mist, it has a slightly creamier character, so I tend to reach for it when my skin feels tight or when I want something more substantial than a simple hydrating spray.

I like using it as one of the final steps in my routine because it makes my skin feel softer without requiring me to layer on another rich product. Out of these three, this is the one I associate most with calm, cosy skincare days.

Together, these three mists cover everything I usually want from this step: glow, lightweight hydration and extra comfort. I like that I can simply choose one depending on how my skin feels that day.
