Mornings feel better when my skincare routine is simple, calming, and easy to follow. I like taking a few minutes to layer products without making the whole process feel like a chore.
This is the routine I reach for when I want my skin to feel clean, hydrated, refreshed, and ready for the day.

1. La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil

I like starting my morning with a gentle cleanse, especially when I want to wash away the leftover feel of my nighttime skincare. La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil has a soft, silky texture that makes this first step feel comfortable. I massage it gently over damp skin and rinse it away before moving on. There’s something satisfying about starting the day with a clean slate, especially when I’m getting ready for makeup afterward.

2. Daily Habits Silky Moisturizer

Next comes moisturizer. Daily Habits Silky Moisturizer is the kind of product I like using when I want my skin to feel soft without turning my morning routine into a long process. I smooth a comfortable layer over my skin and give it a moment to settle. I especially like this step before sunscreen because it gives me a nicely moisturized base for everything that follows.

3. Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hyaluronic acid is one of my favorite ingredients for adding hydration to my routine, so Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum has an easy place in my morning lineup. I use a few drops and gently press the serum into my skin. The lightweight texture makes it simple to layer with my moisturizer, and I like how refreshing this part of the routine feels.

4. The INKEY List Hydro-Surge Dewy Face Mist

The INKEY List Hydro-Surge Dewy Face Mist is my little refreshing moment. I like using a face mist when I want to bring some extra hydration into my routine without adding another heavy layer. A quick spritz makes the skincare process feel more enjoyable, especially on mornings when I’m still waking up and getting ready slowly.

5. Mad Hippie Eye Cream

Eye cream is a small step, but I like having it in my morning routine. Mad Hippie Eye Cream gives me a dedicated product for the delicate area around my eyes. I use a small amount and gently tap it around the area rather than rubbing. It takes only a few seconds, so it never feels like an annoying extra step.

6. MDSolarSciences Mineral Moisture Defense SPF 50

Sunscreen is always my final morning skincare step. MDSolarSciences Mineral Moisture Defense SPF 50 gives me the sun-protection step I don’t want to skip. I apply it generously as the last step before makeup or heading outside. I also make sure to reapply during extended outdoor time according to the product directions.
My routine moves from cleansing to hydration, then moisturizer, mist, eye care, and finally sunscreen. Six steps may sound like a lot at first, but each one has its own little place in my morning. I enjoy having a routine that feels like a quiet start to the day rather than something I need to rush through. A few minutes of skincare, then I’m ready to face whatever the day brings.
