I usually like makeup that gives me room to adjust the finish rather than forcing me into one very specific result.

When I Want More Glow

MARS Hydra Glow Primer, Sotrue 3-in-1 Strobe Cream in Rose Gold and MARS Take A Glow all give me slightly different ways to add luminosity before foundation. I reach for the Hydra Glow Primer when I want the skin to look a little more hydrated and prepared, while the strobe cream gives a warmer, more noticeable radiance. Take A Glow feels like the middle ground for me: easy to work into the base when I want brightness without making the entire face look overly shiny. I like having all three options because I can change the finish depending on how my skin looks that day.

A Lighter Base Option

Sotrue Skin Tint SPF 30 and MARS Skin Fit Skin Tint SPF 30 are the two I choose when I don’t want the coverage or feel of a traditional foundation. The Sotrue version is labelled as a 4-in-1 primer, moisturiser, foundation and SPF product, so I see it as the more multitasking option. MARS Skin Fit feels better suited to days when I mainly want an even-looking complexion with a lighter makeup effect. I like both for casual daytime makeup because they let some of my natural skin show through instead of creating a very perfected finish.

Colour That Changes the Whole Look

Blue Heaven Blush & Juice and Sugar Rush Liquid Blush are the kind of products I use when the rest of my makeup starts looking too neutral. A small amount of blush immediately makes the face look more awake, and I like that both come in compact formats that feel easy to control. The Blue Heaven option works well when I want to build colour gradually, while the Sugar Rush blush gives me that brighter, fresher effect I usually associate with a quick everyday makeup look. I prefer applying either one lightly first and adding more only where I need it.

My Everyday Finish

What I like most about this group is the flexibility. I can use just one glow product with a skin tint and blush for something simple, or layer the steps when I want a more polished result. None of it feels like makeup I have to overthink, which is exactly why I keep reaching for this kind of routine.
