Contour That Works!

· Fashion team
Hey Lykkers! I used to struggle a lot with contour because I always felt like it looked too harsh or muddy on my face. Over time, I realized it’s all about finding the right shade and formula that blends easily into skin instead of sitting on top of it.
These two are the contours I’ve been using the most lately, and they’ve completely changed how I approach soft sculpting.
Peripera Ink V Shading – Hazel Gray
This is my go-to for a more natural, everyday contour look. The shade leans slightly cool-toned, which makes it perfect for creating shadow without looking orange or overly warm. I like how easy it is to blend—there’s almost no effort needed, and it just melts into the skin. It’s also buildable, so I can keep it super subtle for daily makeup or layer it slightly for more definition when I want my features to stand out a bit more.
Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Modern
This one feels like a classic for a reason. The powder is finely milled and blends really smoothly, giving a soft sculpted look that doesn’t feel heavy on the face. I like mixing the shades depending on my makeup look, which makes it more versatile than I expected. It gives that slightly more defined, lifted effect compared to Peripera, but still stays natural if applied with a light hand.
If I want something quick, soft, and effortless, I reach for Peripera. If I want a more polished and slightly more defined look, I go for Too Cool For School. Both are very different in feel, but they cover all the contour moods I usually go for—natural everyday definition versus soft sculpted glam.
