Welcome, Lykkers! If I had to choose just one makeup product to keep in my collection, concealer would be very high on the list.
It's one of the most versatile products in my routine—I can wear it on its own for a quick everyday look, pair it with foundation for extra coverage, or use it strategically to brighten certain areas of my face.
Over the years, I've tried quite a few formulas, but these are the ones I've been reaching for the most lately, especially for my under-eye area.
1. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($32)
This is one of those products that always seems to spark debate—people either love it or leave it. Personally, I'm firmly on the love-it side. The formula feels creamy and hydrating without being too heavy, which is exactly what I want under my eyes.
It provides a beautiful medium coverage that helps brighten and even out the area without looking cakey. I also appreciate how well it wears throughout the day. It manages to stay looking fresh without making my under-eyes feel dry or uncomfortable.
2. e.l.f. Camo Concealer ($7)
Whenever someone asks me for an affordable concealer recommendation, this is usually the first one that comes to mind. The coverage is impressive, and a little product goes a long way. I especially enjoy using it on days when I want a more matte finish or need extra help covering redness and blemishes. For the price, the performance is honestly hard to beat. It's one of those drugstore products that consistently earns a place in my makeup bag.
3. Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever Concealer ($15)
This is the concealer I tend to reach for when I'm putting together a more polished makeup look. The coverage is fuller than some of my everyday favorites, but it still manages to look smooth and skin-like. I love how it brightens the under-eye area without appearing heavy, and it layers beautifully with the rest of my complexion products. Whenever I want a little extra coverage while still keeping my makeup looking fresh, this one never disappoints.
4. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer ($29)
This was a newer addition to my collection, but it quickly earned a spot among my favorites. The first thing I noticed was how effortlessly it blended. The texture is incredibly smooth and spreads across the skin without much work at all. Despite offering full coverage, it doesn't feel thick or uncomfortable.
What really impressed me was the finish. It has a soft matte look while still keeping the under-eye area looking healthy and hydrated, which can be difficult to find in a full-coverage formula.
Each of these concealers brings something different to my routine. NARS is my reliable everyday favorite, e.l.f. delivers amazing value for the price, Sephora Collection is perfect when I want a more glam look, and Lancôme has quickly become one of my favorite full-coverage options.
Honestly, I don't think there's one "perfect" concealer for every situation. Sometimes I want lightweight coverage, other days I want something that can cover everything—and that's exactly why I keep multiple options around.
