Hi Friends! Hair fall has been one of my biggest hair concerns, so I'm always curious about products that claim to support stronger, healthier-looking hair.
I've tried a few over the years, and these are two that stood out to me for different reasons.
1. L'Oréal Serioxyl Advanced Hair Tonic — 7/10
When I first started using this hair tonic, I actually noticed a difference. My hair seemed to shed a little less, and I felt optimistic about the results. However, after using it for a longer period, I felt like the effects weren't as noticeable as they were in the beginning. Because of that, I found myself alternating it with other hair tonics instead of relying on it alone.
One thing I absolutely love is the scent—it smells incredibly luxurious and makes the whole experience feel a bit more premium. The downside is that it's not always easy for me to get, so I usually have to pre-order it. Since it's also on the pricier side, I tend to use it sparingly and try not to finish the bottle too quickly. Overall, I liked it, but I personally didn't see the dramatic results I was hoping for.
2. Kérastase Spécifique Stimuliste Anti Hair-Loss Spray — 9/10
This is the hair tonic I found myself reaching for more consistently. The formula feels lightweight on my scalp and doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or weighed down. That alone made it much easier for me to use regularly. What I appreciated most was how comfortable it felt in my daily routine. Over time, my hair seemed healthier overall, and I noticed less shedding compared to before.
Unlike some scalp treatments that can leave residue behind, this one absorbs nicely and doesn't make my hair look greasy afterward. It simply fits into my routine without requiring extra effort. For me, this was the stronger performer of the two.
Both products have their strengths, but my experiences with them were quite different. The L'Oréal Serioxyl Advanced Hair Tonic gave me a promising start, but the results seemed to level off over time. Meanwhile, the Kérastase Spécifique Stimuliste Spray felt more consistent and easier to incorporate into my routine.
Hair products can work differently for everyone, but if I had to choose the one I'd repurchase first, it would definitely be the Kérastase.
