Exfoliants are one of the most talked-about products in skincare, especially for those struggling with clogged pores and texture.
After seeing so many recommendations online, I decided to test a few popular formulas to see if they could help with my closed comedones.
Through trial and error, I quickly realized that patience is key, and while some formulas worked, others fell short of expectations.

COSRX Whitehead Power Liquid

K-beauty rarely disappoints, and this exfoliant proved to be a solid choice. I applied it once a week at night to allow the formula to sink deeply into my pores. Over time, it helped reduce small breakouts and left my skin feeling clearer. The results don't appear overnight, so consistency and patience are crucial.

Peach Slices Exfoliating Toner

Although I'm a fan of Peach Slices as a brand, this toner didn't deliver the improvements I was hoping for. I gave it a fair trial, but my skin showed little noticeable change. The only product from this line I still reach for is their pimple patches, which work much faster and more effectively for me.

Paula's Choice Exfoliant

This one was a disappointment, especially considering its viral reputation. Despite the hype, it felt almost like applying water to my skin, with no significant results. While it might be effective for others, it simply wasn’t strong enough to address my skin's needs.
Testing viral exfoliants showed me that skincare isn't one-size-fits-all. What works wonders for one person may do little for another. For my skin, the COSRX Whitehead Power Liquid was the only one that delivered noticeable results. The takeaway? Stay patient, listen to your skin, and don't be afraid to keep searching until you find what truly works!
